Social AI Rooms: 4 People + 4 Models in the Same Chat

A Multi-User, Multi-Model Hybrid Experience

Social AI Rooms is a collaborative, interactive Nousaxis mode that lets users experience the multi-model ecosystem together with friends. The feature allows up to 4 real users (you + 3 friends) and 4 distinct AI models to interact in the same chat room simultaneously.

The mode offers a hybrid surface for joint research, brainstorming, collective fact-checking, or simply social entertainment.

Technical Specifications & Rules

• Room capacity: Up to 4 concurrent users (human-in-the-loop) + 4 active AI agents.
• Model selection: The room host or participants can independently pick the 4 LLM architectures to activate from the pool (e.g. Claude Opus 4.8, GPT-5.5, Gemini 3.5 Flash, Grok 4.20).
• Message routing: Users can talk to each other (P2P) and trigger models via @ModelName mentions or global commands. Models can be configured for asynchronous or synchronous (sequential/debate) responses.
• State management: A WebSocket layer keeps the multi-user, multi-model data flow synchronized in real time.

When to Use It

Social AI Rooms shines in team brainstorming sessions, joint research, decisions that need multiple perspectives, and social/educational interactions. Unlike single-user modes, it fuses group human intelligence with model plurality in the same session.
